There are a lot of possible ideas out there – even more than are presented on this site.  Peruse this list and perhaps something will appeal to you or your group.

• A mobile of fish, birds, origami, clowns, or a la Caldor
• Tissue paper mosaic underwater scene, bird scene, tropical scene
• Relief mural – individual gold, silver, or copper relief panels mounted on board
• Photographic computer generated portraits painted, colored, or decorated by kids, framed
• Large canvas painted a la Jackson Pollack, or with hand prints a la Andy Warhol
• Self Portraits framed – “faces of friendship” Crayons/Cray-pas on acid free board then washed over with water color framed again black background
• Quilt – hang-able as a wall hanging or put on a twin sized bed
• Chess Set
• A kid’s desk chair or occasional chair designed and painted by the kids.
• Toy Chest or book shelf painted or decoupaged with student artwork

• Heroes Project – book of quotes and reasons why each person is our hero include children’s illustrations
• Free standing small animal statuette like a deer cow or horse decorated and titled by the class – like the horse or cow sculptures done by cities around the country
• Textile art – Tie Dying, African, Native American, Mayan, Asian

• Set of Beeswax Candles with decorated candle holders
• Painted wooden letters of the alphabet – each kid does a letter and the set can either be set on a shelf or hung on the wall of a kids’ room
• Lamp with shade decorated by the kids
• Large Ceramics decorated by kids – Urns, Plant pots, Serving bowls, Fruit bowl
• Collage of self portraits as birds, or self portraits as fish, or self portraits as animals etc.
